Abstract

Transit agencies are exploring innovative ways to improve the reliability and cost-effectiveness of their asset maintenance programs. Yet, the journey toward data-driven strategies can be complicated by organizational constraints, data quality issues, and the need for staff buy-in. This panel will bring together experts representing transit agencies to share experiences and lessons learned in implementing analytics-based maintenance. Speakers will discuss diverse asset classes (e.g., subway infrastructure, bus fleets), highlight both their challenges and successful initiatives, and showcase outcomes. Audience participation is encouraged through interactive polls (e.g., Mentimeter) to gauge attendees’ perspectives and gather instant feedback.
