Information gathered from the survey includes types of data collected, methods used for data collection, data architecture, methods used for geo-referencing data, how work-zone data is currently being used, and additional data needs. The results of the survey were compiled and analyzed to develop recommendations to help agencies more effectively manage work-zone data, and to leverage that data for operational and safety analysis purposes.
