Iowa Roads Scholar Program
Review training records
This program formally recognizes Iowa's transportation workers and their commitment to continuing education. Participation is free and automatic. Workers receive credit hours for attending workshops and conferences. Virutally all training events offered by Iowa LTAP and the Institute for Transportation qualify for Roads Scholar credit.
As their credit hours add up, workers receive recognition from Iowa LTAP and from their own supervisors.
The program also helps supervisors schedule ongoing staff training and better manage their training budgets. Supervisors can see at a glance what workshops their employees have attended by reviewing their organization's training records.
Roads Scholar levels of achievement
Following are the number of credit hours required to attain each level:
- Roads Scholar I: 30 hours
