About the research

CTRE has developed a GIS-based Incident Location Tool (ILT) for use with Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS), an electronic data collection system sponsored by IDOT. The South Dakota DOT is implementing TraCS and requires that ILT be made operational using the data formats and procedures of SDDOT.
