Midwest Transportation Consortium
The Midwest Transportation Consortium is one of 10 competitively awarded Tier-1 University Transportation Centers sponsored by the Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA) of the U.S. DOT. The consortium is a partnership among Iowa State University, The University of Iowa, and the University of Northern Iowa, with ISU acting as lead institution.

Year's first issue of Go! now available
The October 2009 issue of Go!, an MTC-supported online magazine for teens and young adults about careers in transportation, marks the start of the magazine's third season. Go! is strengthening its math and science content and publishing Spanish editions of each issue, thanks to a grant from the Iowa Math and Science Education Partnership (IMSEP).
