Centers & Programs
InTrans can quickly tackle new or persistent challenges, often assembling ad hoc agency-industry-university partnerships to meet specific needs as they are identified. These centers and programs secure funding and stakeholder buy-in, sponsor or manage focused research, and ensure that results become conventional practice. Sometimes related needs spin off into separate efforts.
As a result, InTrans now manages an in-flux, resilient cluster of programs that produce implementable products and meet real needs and that can dissolve or evolve as needs are met and new ones identified. Synergy among these efforts is fostered by sharing InTrans's physical space, academic and technical expertise, and support services.
