InTrans Innovation Demonstration & Training Day

Bridge inspection

You are invited to visit the Institute for Transportation (InTrans) for a series of hands-on demonstrations of cutting edge tools, implementation materials, and research products. These innovations improve the safety of the traveling public and roadway workers and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of local, state, and national transportation agencies and contractors. Innovation Stations will be placed throughout InTrans. A sample of these is listed below.

If you need MUTCD training, you can also register for a "MUTCD Signing Review" workshop and combine that with your Innovation Station visits. The agenda for that workshop is shown below.

Please register using the form to the left for one or both of these options. That way we'll have lots of food for everyone. Sign in at the InTrans front desk (door 4700). Everyone gets lunch!

7:45 am registration / 8:00 am start

  • 8:00 am - Introductions and plan for the day
  • 8:15 am - MUTCD Signing Review: Introduction, General Signing Applications & Basics and Regulatory & Barricades
  • 10:00 am - Visit the Innovation Stations & Lunch
  • 12:45 pm - MUTCD Signing Review: Warning Signs, Guide Signs, and Railroad Crossings
  • 2:30 pm - Adjourn
