Go! Magazine (http://www.go-explore-trans.org/) is a free, not-for-profit, online magazine that produces articles about the unique, interesting, crazy, awesome, and expanding world of transportation.

Each month, Go! produces a three-part article series with either an interview with a transportation expert, a book or movie review, a blog entry from one of our staff writers, or information about transportation careers. The best part? Our articles are interesting for readers of all ages.

For July, we produced a Go! Explore article series about the unique modes of transportation found only in certain places around the world. Ever heard of a tuk tuk? We spanned the globe and explored Europe, Asia, and the Americas!

Exploring Europe: Unique transportation

In some areas around the world, climate, culture, and traditions can vary more than we can possibly imagine. So transportation can be different, too. Come with us as we explore the unique modes of transportation in places like Finland, Germany, and Switzerland! Anyone up for a sleigh ride? What about a ride on an aerial tram? Hope you're not afraid of heights!

Exploring Asia: Unique transportation

Did you know that in Southeast Asia, it stays warm all year round? This warmer climate can accommodate for different year-round modes of transportation that wouldn't necessarily work in other parts of the world. Come with us as we explore the Philippines, Thailand, and even take a pit stop in Vietnam.

Exploring the Americas: Unique transportation

This adventure may take us a little closer to home: America. But we aren't just exploring the different modes of transportation in North America but South and Central America too! Let's jump on a windsled and visit Wisconsin. Or how about a zipline through Costa Rica? But really, did you know that in Titicaca, Peru, the people there still use reed boats to get around?

Exploring Asia: A Filipina perspective

Go! Staff Writer Hannah Postlethwait had the opportunity to interview Decerie Chua Deluta—"Denxei" for short—about the unique modes of transportation found in her hometown of Quezon City, which is the most populous city in the Philippines.

Fossil Fuels=Fossil Earth?

Go! Intern Alex Larson is concerned about how fossil fuels are impacting Earth and its many ecosystems. Can the transportation industry be the problem? What options do we have? Find out what Alex thinks in his newest blog entry on transportation safety.

Dot’s Adventures with Transportation: A History

"Dot's Adventures with Transportation: A History" is directly related to the Go! History series posted in March 2016, where readers learn how the modes of transportation we rely on today came to be—from four wheels to two wheels to taking flight!
